Happy 2012

I am so blessed to have created so many heirlooms as Christmas gifts. I am gearing up for next year. I have blogged daily or every other day for 5 years. Rather than spending time blogging in 2012, I will create new things and share them with you. My resolution is to enjoy each day with my children. "Christmas cards month" may be my favorite time of year. I always challenge my mother to see who gets more!

Have you all seen the new holiday line of cards on Shutterfly??

You know I am a stationary-a-holic!!! Well, I am already ordering my goodies so I have time to write them all out and mail the FIRST day of December. (This is when I have mailed mine since I was married fifteen years ago!) I am always so excited and start shopping, planning and decorating the day after Halloween! Anyone who knows me, knows I love December.

Okay I want to share some of my favorites with you... check these out...

I am a huge fan of thank you notes. I am an "old-school" kind of girl so I love and much prefer a hand written thank you to an "e" version. Here is my favorite thank you note on Shutterfly (and I do plan to order)! I love this one for a couple of reasons... it is simple, classy and since it is not so over-the-top Christmassy I can carry these into VALENTINE's Day! WHOOHOO. I love a double duty purchase.

However, this snowman certainly stole my heart as well. This set would be perfect for my children. I definitely want them to learn how IMPORTANT Thank you notes are as well. What better way to teach them to practice than to supply cute cards for them?

OH!!!!!!!! And since I am planning to have a cookie swap for Lexi's girlfriends, this holiday invite is perfect for that! (The snowman again stole my heart, but the cookies serve the purpose and theme so well, I just have to order these.) Can you imagine how excited the girls will be when they get this in the mail?

Finally, if you need a rockin' photo card, be sure to check out Shutterfly! I do not think you can beat them on the web! This one is my favorite!! I love baker's twine and so this one definitely hit home for me. But also, the 5x5 shape is unique and I love different. There are so many wonderful products to choose from.
